# Refund & Cancellation Policy — Chaello

## Try before you buy
Both products offer a **7-day free trial** so you can evaluate before paying.

## Desktop app (annual license, $99/year)
- Refund requests within **[14] days** of purchase are eligible if the Software
  fails to work as described and we cannot resolve the issue.
- Renewals: cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

## Online app (subscription, $19/month)
- **Cancel anytime;** access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Monthly fees already billed are generally **non-refundable**, except where
  required by law or in case of a service fault.

## How payments/refunds are handled
Payments are processed by **Paddle** (our merchant of record). Refunds, where
granted, are issued through Paddle to your original payment method.
Chargeback/dispute handling follows Paddle's process.

## Your data is always safe
Whatever your billing status, **your data is never deleted** and remains
exportable ("lifetime save").
